Dawg-Tec Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

1) Overview
We want you to feel confident ordering Dawg-Tec products. If an issue arises, we will review your request and work with you toward an appropriate resolution through a return, exchange, or warranty replacement, depending on the situation.
2) Return Window
Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
Requests submitted outside this window may not be eligible for return or refund.
3) Return Eligibility (Non-Defective Items)
To qualify for a non-defective return, the item must meet all of the following conditions:

Unused, clean, and in like-new condition

Returned in original packaging, including all accessories, components, and inserts

If original packaging is unavailable, the item must be returned in equivalent protective packaging and remain in like-new condition

Accompanied by proof of purchase, such as an order number or receipt
We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of use, wear, damage, missing parts, strong odors, improper packaging, or misuse.
4) Exchanges
Exchanges (including size exchanges) may be requested within the same 30-day return window.
If approved, we will provide exchange instructions and available options. Exchange availability is subject to inventory and product condition upon inspection.
5) Refund Outcomes
If a return is approved after inspection, one of the following outcomes may be offered at Dawg-Tec’s discretion:

Refund to the original payment method

Exchange for an eligible item

Store credit, which may occasionally be offered with a promotional bonus
Refund type and method are determined based on item condition, reason for return, and order history.
6) Return Shipping Costs

Verified defect or warranty issue:
Dawg-Tec covers return shipping and will provide a prepaid return label. -
All other return reasons (including preference or sizing):
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
7) Inspection & Processing Times

Returned items are typically inspected within 3 business days of arrival.

Approved refunds, exchanges, or store credits are typically processed within 5 business days after inspection.
Please note that banks and card issuers may require additional time to post refunds after processing.
8) Restocking Fees
For non-defective returns, a restocking fee of up to 10% may be applied to help cover inspection, handling, and processing costs.

Restocking fees are never applied to verified defects or warranty claims.

If a restocking fee applies, it will be disclosed during the return approval process.
9) 1-Year Limited Warranty
Dawg-Tec products include a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in applicable components, including stitching, structural hardware, and electronic modules where included.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

Chewing or animal damage

Misuse, neglect, or improper handling

Accidents or impact damage
-
Unauthorized modifications or repairs
-
Normal wear and tear
Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
10) How to Start a Return or Warranty Claim
To request a return, exchange, or warranty support:

Use our online returns portal (if available), or

Email support@dawg-tec.com with the following information:

Order number

Reason for request

Photos or video documentation (required for defect or warranty claims)

If approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed return instructions. Returns sent without an RMA may be refused.
11) Additional Terms

Dawg-Tec reserves the right to refuse service for excessive or abusive return behavior.

International customers are responsible for return shipping, duties, and taxes unless the return is due to a verified defect.

Certain limited releases, beta units, or special programs may have modified return terms disclosed at purchase.
