Product – Relay Harness
Does the Relay Harness include electronics or stimulation?
No. It does not contain any built-in electronics, batteries, or stimulation mechanisms. The harness itself is a modular platform designed to work with compatible third-party e-collar receivers.
Will this replace my existing e-collar or training system?
No. Relay is not a replacement for your existing tools or training method. It is designed to integrate with what you already use, preserving familiar controls while changing how feedback is delivered.
Which e-collar receivers are compatible with Relay?
Relay is built around the common #6-32 threaded contact post used by many major brands like Educator, Dogtra, SportDOG, and PetSafe. Garmin receivers are not compatible.
Do I need to buy a new transmitter or remote?
No. You can use the transmitter/remote you already have with a compatible receiver. Some handlers choose to mount two receivers, but one is sufficient.
Can I use different contact pads or styles?
Yes. Relay supports multiple contact point styles through its threaded mounting system. Some contact pads may be aftermarket purchases depending on preference.
Is the Relay Harness painful or harsh?
Relay doesn’t change how your receiver signals your dog — it simply relocates where feedback contacts the dog’s body. Comfort and response depend on your training method, timing, and level selection.
Will I need to change how I train with it?
No. It’s meant to fit into your existing workflows. You may need to re-establish working levels and responses when transitioning equipment.
Can I use Relay and a collar at the same time?
Yes. You can configure Relay as body-mounted only, body + collar, or situational setups based on your training goals.
Is this a guaranteed training solution?
No. Training outcomes depend on your method, consistency, timing, environment, and handler skill. Relay is a tool, not a guarantee.
Is the Relay Harness a medical or behavioral device?
No. It is a training tool and is not intended to diagnose or treat medical or behavioral conditions.
Why does Relay relocate feedback off the neck?
Delivering feedback to larger muscle groups on the body can improve contact consistency and reduce spikes in arousal. This supports clearer communication and encourages lower-level use when appropriate.
