What is the E-Harness?
The Dawg-Tec E-Harness™ is a patented dog training harness that safely relocates e-collar stimulation from the dog’s neck to the ribs. Each unit is modified in-house using a high-quality tactical harness base, internal wiring, and custom 3D-printed inserts. Your off-the-shelf e-collar receiver mounts externally on the dog’s back using our secure 3D-printed plate. The receiver’s signal is then routed through the harness to rib-based contact points for more stable, consistent, and humane communication. This prototype-phase design provides the safety and comfort of a harness with the functionality of a modern training system—ideal for everyday owners, balanced trainers, and working-dog handlers.

Dawg-Tec is now in full beta testing of the E-Harness™. Our team and partner trainers are putting the latest prototypes through real-world training sessions to finalize comfort, signal consistency, durability, and overall performance. Early results are strong, and we remain on track for our upcoming holiday release, with a confirmed launch date to be announced soon.

How do I use my existing e-collar with the E-Harness?
Your existing e-collar receiver mounts directly onto the E-Harness™ using our custom 3D-printed oval plate. The plate sits on the dog’s back and includes pre-drilled screw holes that line up with the receiver’s standard mounting points. Simply place the receiver on the plate, insert the screws, and tighten them securely.
Underneath the plate, the E-Harness™ contains internal 3D-printed inserts that replace the receiver’s normal contact-point posts. These inserts anchor the screws from below and lock the receiver in place, keeping it stable during movement and training.
Once mounted, the receiver connects to the harness’s internal wiring, which routes the signal to rib-based contact points for safer, more consistent communication than a neck collar.
This setup allows you to use your current e-collar while benefiting from the E-Harness's improved comfort, fit, and signal delivery.
